Summer Dancer Swimbait Lure for Bass Fishing

In the spring of 2008, during a bass tournament, I tied on my brand-new swimbait, cast it, and watched helplessly as my line snapped and the expensive lure flew across the lake. The heartbreaking feeling of losing that lure was quickly followed by the same scenario on the very next cast. I was extremely frustrated and thought to myself, "This is getting expensive losing these pricey baits!" That's when the idea struck me - I could design a better lure at a lower cost and pass those savings on to other anglers.

In August 2008, I embarked on a journey and started Real Fish Bait. While I had always tinkered with bait design, I lacked the knowledge to bring them into production. It took me a year of research to learn how to transform a drawing on paper into an actual prototype. Finally, in late 2009, I received my first prototype and have been growing the product line ever since.

Fast-forward 14 years, and we now offer over 200 style and color pattern combinations. Our selection includes the Great summer time bait, the Clear Lake Hitch. This 8-10" slow-sinking lure is perfect for those suspended fish. The Blueback Herring, a big bait that triggers explosive spring and summer time strikes, boasts a realistic action that will tempt the most active fish. The larger Gizzard Shad makes an excellent trolling bait, and can also be cast over rocks and submerged vegetation, retrieved slowly to entice hungry fish.

Our product line extends to Kokanee, Rainbow Trout, Threadfin Shad, Yellow Perch, and the Striped Bass-enticing Silver Shiner. We also offer "Injured" versions of these baits, perfect for triggering predatory strikes.
