About Us: In the spring of 2008, during a bass tournament, I had an unfortunate experience. I tied on a brand-new swimbait, cast it, and watched in dismay as the line snapped, sending the expensive lure flying across the lake. This heartbreaking moment was soon repeated on the very next cast, leaving me frustrated at the high cost of losing these pricey baits. It was then that I decided to take matters into my own hands – I would design a better, more affordable lure and pass those savings on to other anglers.

In August 2008, I embarked on the journey to create Real Fish Bait. As someone who had always tinkered with bait design, I knew I had the passion and expertise, but the challenge lay in transitioning from paper drawings to tangible prototypes. After a year of dedicated research, I finally received my first prototype in late 2009 and have since expanded our product line to over 200 style and color combinations.
